The Facts:
Waters Creek Well known to trout fishers and local residents, Waters Creek Recreational Area also features a pair of small falls and numerous cascades. The Falls are right off the road and most sunny summer afternoons will find folk splashing around the stream, sunning themselves on the rocks and swimming in the large pool at the bottom of this wide drop of twelve feet.

Directions:
Proceed north from Dahlonega on hwy 19 for 12 miles. About 1/2 mile before the junction of hwy 19 and hwy 129 turn left on FS 34. Look for a brown "Recreation Area" sign. Proceed 1 mile or so to the camping area then proceed another mile or so, the falls will be visible from the road.
