Trip to Blood Mountain- Page 1| 2 |3|

View from Blood Mountain Arriving at the parking area around 2:00 p.m., we were delighted to see no other cars at the trail head, perhaps we would have the mountain to ourselves. Ripple took the lead as we donned our day packs and started up the access trail, chatting and enjoying each others company. An hour later, we arrived at the summit.

We spent a delightful time enjoying the view, the solitude, and the peace and quiet. We then climbed onto a rock outcrop to enjoy our dinner. Weave had just unzipped her pack when the silence was shattered by a loud call.

"Weave! Hey Weave!"
